(ASL 3)
This course requires an enrollment keyThis course is the third year of American Sign Language as a foreign Language. ASL 2 is a prerequisite for taking ASL 3. In this course students will continue to use the Signing Naturally Curriculum-Level 3 text/video with Units 18-25. Each unit focuses on different language skills such as building narrative skills, developing conversational skills used in everday discussions, explaining ideas or how things work and why things are the way they are. Students will also learn how to sign ASL from written text. More exposure to ASL storytelling videos will boost their comprehension skills and expand their vocabulary. Mon-manual behaviors, use of classifiers and roleplay shift will be stressed.
